I met Devine Carama a few years ago at a concert produced by E.M. Theories. His live performance was moving and thought-provoking. Since then, the Lexington, Kentucky native has continued to improve his resume in the music business. Recently, he joined forces with associate professor Bryan Hains to teach a hip-hop and community development class at the University of Kentucky. How dope is that? The four week course was titled Lyricism & Leadership: Hip-Hop & Community Change . To end the course students were required to complete an eight track EP they titled Agents of Change Volume 1.

Each track focuses on themes similar to what we hear Devine Carama rap about. The music will empower its listeners with knowledge about the problems we face in society and what effective leadership is. Profits earned from the EP will go to On The Move Art Studio, a non-profit company that offers free art workshops for people living in the inner city.
